As a former pot smoker, I can tell you the idea that it's an effective pain reliever is absolute garbage. The medical marijuana lobby is nothing more than a Trojan horse designed to further weaken the country by getting as many people stoned and worthless as possible.

As for pharmaceutical companies which sell narcotics, I agree if you say that a stop should be put to it to a large degree. It is unconscionable that big pharma has gotten so many addicted to their poison.

Luckily there is now an effective, non-narcotic solution to chronic pain and even pain which occurs as the result of injury or post-surgery. That alternative is far infrared therapy in a patch. Good points, it just seems like there is a reason TPTB dont want the public to have it. Is it just because they make so much money off the illegal sale of it?

They don't want it sold or consumed because it's bad for your health and bad for productivity, as well as being a gateway to harder drugs, among other reasons. All the things the anti-drug lobby says about it are true. As far as the money that's made off it, most of that goes to Moscow, Beijing, and the individuals they have managed to corrupt in our own society. Money is not the reason it is and should remain illegal. Were it legalized, much more would be made by the government via taxation than whatever proceeds accrue to it now via forfeiture.

It's not just pot. They are in a war against all other natural remedies and medicinal plants (aka 'illegal drugs').
