Or don't. Do moderate cardio exercise and do not hyper-focus on any part of the body as it will reduce the overall strength, flexibility and reaction of the muscle and skeletal systems you rely on.

YA- 5 stars for the guts OP has to SAY SOMETHING. We are all different- so some need more weights, some more cardio, some need to eat right, some need to get a life and get up and move.....but we all need to eat right and exercise.

thats my problem..I started working out for sports in high school and continued my entire life...im now 35 and lost all desire to do any exercise. I gotta find a hobby because I just cant do the gym anymore.

you do realise its not a good idea to tell people to workout 6 days a week when they are just starting off, a lot of people will sustain injury,

you should start with 2 days and then 3 days and spin it as a day on day off kind of routine when they are ready physically for it

I've been working out since high school football days and now I'm 61. Get up a 0400, workout 0500-0630, go to work 0700-1600. Workout 4 days a week all with osteoarthritis.

No excuses.

I get up, smoke bongs, and hit the bike path for a 5 or 6 mile run. On distance runs like 10 miles or more, i will bring a joint for the halfway mark. Weed boosts workout performance by 50% at least. I'm 40 and I can run a five minute mile.

At the end of my run i do push ups and sittups. Most days of the week I try to fit in 400 pushups during the day in sets of 25. Try that shit and you'll be able to rip someone's head off and throw flick it like a cig.

Anyway, Op is right. Get off your ass.

I do 20 min of cardio a day and hit the weights for my upper body three times a week (mon,wed,fri)
I've lost 77lbs since January doing that... I had spine surgery Dec 30th, had to make a life change

High satuated fat, low carb diet too

Killer results... I was a fat man at 6'3 335... Today I'm 6'3 258 with growing muscles

Started with 15lb dumb bells and just yesterday did my first workout with 40lbs... It's ego boosting every time I look in the mirror

I'm 43 and just got a new Mountain Bike a couple months ago...eating right and lost about 15 pounds. Up to at least 8 miles a day sometimes 30.

40 minutes of high-moderate cardio a day is just overworking your body too much i think. it's better to do an hour of slow and easy walking once or twice per day.
