Sandy Hook: Why December 14th (or 13th)?

I've always wondered if there was anything at all significant about the date December 14th, to anyone, for any reason, as an anniversary or other reason making whatever happened in Newtown happen on that day. I also continue to think it's possible whatever it was was planned for December 13th. But leaving that aside, here's an odd December 14 date involving a novel case of chimpanzee infanticide.

"Of particular interest...was the behavior of a high-ranking adult female who at first attempted to intervene in [sic] the victim's behalf, and then cooperated vigorously in the attack."

The attack occurred on December 14, 1996, and was initiated at...9:35 a.m.

I know it's possible to see causation where causation doesn't exist--but a lot crazier things have been noted during SH research, so why not this one. I went down this road (finding a chimpanzee-related date) because of the lengthy chimpanzee-society ramblings allegedly posted by "Adam" or someone "Adam" was being modeled on. I think it's entirely plausible that if you were going to invent a disturbing 20 year old man, you might model it on an existing possibly-disturbing 20 year old man, so I'm not saying Adam exists and that he chose this date because of chimpanzee infanticide, but maybe whoever invented Adam did. My thought would be that the person whose ramblings were cited as Adam's, if they were genuine ramblings, might have decided to try and prove that humans would also commit male/female pair infanticide (if you think that sounds crazy, read the ramblings) i.e. let chimps off the hook as the "only primate" to do this. The "Chimp Adam" individual was adamantly supportive of chimps as being basically no different than humans.
