Rubbish Chinese etc are not referred to as Asians in Britain, they are from the Far East/the Orient and are Orientals, If you are offended by that then so be it... you probably get professionally offended anyway..

Believe it or not, there are Europeans born in Africa and Asia. However, you will tend to see the parents rush of to their nearest consulate, to register their child.

Check out the number of Brits living in Switzerland. It is quite large and they are generally referred to as expatriates.

As a percentage, the number of chinese in Britain is quite small. They are generally reffered to as immigrants.

There are Japanese people in Britain. They are ALWAYS reffered to as expatriates.

I suggest you re-visit your definition of expatriate and immigrant.

Right I've heard all the apologists and ramblings, and the consensus appears strongly that if you are born on a particular tectonic plate then you are from that plate and can thus be named/categorized as being from that plate.

The Eurasian plate extens from the western border (but does not include) of China right over to Britain.

The science and conventional thinking is settled.

If you're born in Britain, France, Belgium you're Eurasian.
