And just because you learned American English and use Amerianised terms does not mean everyone else does, gee what a boring life you lead. try booking a holiday in the UK to the Far East and you'll see the difference in terms... Far East Holidays [link to www.hayesandjarvis.co.uk] However the Americanism to call everyone in the region Asians is taking hold, which is somewhat sad, however Orientals is still the dominant term. But the argument is, if Britons are Europeans while not even being connected to Europe then like it or not Chinese are Asians. |

Believe it or not, there are Europeans born in Africa and Asia. However, you will tend to see the parents rush of to their nearest consulate, to register their child. This makes sense, since a pig born in a goat pen can never become a goat. It might even pick up some goat noises and actions, but it is still a pig. It is nothing to be ashamed of, you are who you are, and filling in bits of paper cannot change that. |

Given that you say another UK territory then that must mean they've found you on a map and know exactly where you are, which is in Asia... cool :) Well the UK had a few colonies in China as they conspired with the other 8 to have their own slice of the pie. People forget now that it was the americans who nuked the japanese, and McArthur's island hopping that rid SE Asia of the Japanese. Although in china it's pretty muddled with the ensuing civil war, and the ROC's withdrawl to Taiwan, and the PRC's occupation of Beijing and China But we both know the People's Army was hiding, while the real war was being fought in the big cities. Even with teh current air of mistrust, this is why China and america have somewhat good trade deals. Unlike Russia. And I hear that Vietnam may normalize, but they were always more of a SU alley than with China. |

The Eurasian plate extens from the western border (but does not include) of China right over to Britain. The science and conventional thinking is settled. If you're born in Britain, France, Belgium you're Eurasian. End of story. Rightio! Tally ho my Eurasian maties! |
