'Cops' TV show crew member DIES after being shot (by a cop) during Wendy's robbery

They will still charge the robbery suspect with murder/manslaughter/conspiracy/neglect

I hope this show gets shut down. It has never been more than programming designed to scare viewers into fear of LEOs, and, as far as I'm concerned, the beginning of the slide into reality television.

Yes it is, you stated it exactly, "just cause" is just that. If a suspect enters a business with the intent to rob it with a gun in their hand, their intent is to use that gun if they don't receive what they want. It makes no difference if the gun is a toy.

The cops in the recent massive chase bank robbery shootout n Stockton, ca fired 700 (yes SEVEN HUNDRED) rounds into a stopped car with a live, innocent hostage inside (shes dead now)

It doesn't matter, if you have a toy gun why stealing, it's the same criminal charge of using a weapon while discharging the offense. The criminal is responsible for the harm to the show employee due to his criminal actions.

No. you cant lump these together where the criminal is responsible for the cop shooting the camera man. The criminal is not even the in the title of the thread. He is not the subject. The innocent man shot by hair trigger police is.

Ive got no problem separating this. There was a criminal with an airsoft gun who deserved to be shot. See? Done.

NOW, on to the subject of the story. There was a man there who is dead because of police incompetence. This is a entirely different subject that happened while a man with an air soft gun was attempting to rob a store. See? Two different things.

The criminal is responsible for getting the cops involved.

The cop is responsible for irresponsibly killing an innocent man.

No matter how you spin it, the criminal did not kill the camera man or cause his death. A police officer did. That police officer is responsible for that death, not the criminal with the airsoft gun.

Lets not forget 30 shots that didnt even hit the criminal as well.

Also just heard/read about a women police shot dead to keep her from killing herself.. in Nashville/ she had a gun threaten to kill herself.. Guess police stepped in an solved that problem for her... She was a friend of a friend..
