I have lived my entire life in California and never heard of a hurricane impacting the state. Weird stuff.

The wedge can be a very scary place. The waves break almost right on shore in very little water. I body surfed there once back in the 70's just so I could say I did it. Only 6 ft waves then. Still my stomach was in my throat and I had been a regular body surfing at 52'nd street for a couple of years already.

That'll lube up them faults!

let me guess. You christians think Gods punishing California for there "sinful" lifestyle.

Hey... I work in Malibu...it has been crazy!!! All along PCH , we have have double parked cars and campers on the road...hundreds of Surfers and News vans, Helicopters and fire dept. The waves are insane and the best ever! surfers have been driving in from the North and South to catch
these puppies!! It is an amazing thing to watch!!
Malibu Pier is the ONLY thing that has been closed due to
some Pilings going down... other than that...It's a HUGE
party!!!!!!

Malibu is breaking big time. I have surfed there many times, and the typical wave is about 2'. Its getting dark now, but tomorrow morning there should be some very godd, glassy waves on the cam.

I thought they were called typhoons in the Pacific, when did they start referring to them as hurricanes?

I did with prayer when we first moved back to Texas and no water only one 80 year old lady walked with me , but He heard us , I want to go to Ca and walk , really thinking about it
