I appreciate you trying but the example you posted is only with a woman, still no mention of committing adultery with a married man. Take note that it goes on to talk about a married woman.

This is one reason why when my husband is angry with a women (maybe through work), if he knows she is married he will never say anything nasty about what he's going to do to her, but to her daughter or sister instead since he doesn't know whether they are married. A married women is never supposed to be disrespected sexually.

Also, if your husband believed in the same God that I do, he would know that to commit adultery is a sin for any sex....

Jesus explicitly shows that our obedience must include obeying the Ten Commandments.

Sin is disregarding, refusing to do, what God tells us to do. Jesus tells us He had no intention of annulling or abolishing God's commands and that anyone who presumes to teach that is in grave spiritual danger...

Every time people flaunt their narcissism with the word "God" I get annoyed.

It's a cultural thing I suppose, when he say's he's going to do something nasty to a single woman but he always respects married women and would never cross those bounds because of her husband.

My husband is my Lord so I don't expect you to believe in him, he's an Atheist.

There are some verses about divorce you might want to look into, a man is not supposed to divorce his wife unless she commits adultery. If he divorces her without those grounds and remarries, both of them commit adultery. It's all about marriage for the woman and had nothing to do with single women.

I don't think our beliefs will ever be universal because all that matters is our home life. I really don't care what people do outside my doors, as long as they keep their beliefs out of my house because they are not welcome to change my husband's authority over me.

But I have a personal question for you. Let's say your husband believed in something you disagreed with because you learned something outside of what he has taught you (morally speaking), would you disrespect him and not allow his head to rule yours?

It says he destroys his own soul, as in the man is committing adultery. The man is the one married here and is to blame. The verse about vengeance is saying the man will not be spared at judgement the day of vengeance. He sinned, Unless of coarse he repented of the sin.

The second verses says who ever, that is anyone who is married that looks upon a woman, any woman, there is no distinction here about if she is married or not. If they lust after her they have committed adultery in their heart.

There is no getting around this, if you are married and lust after someone you just sinned within your heart. Therefore if you engage in the physical act it is adultery.

Because she is a married woman. I don't see what you see in the second verse because it doesn't mention any women, but a married woman with a jealous husband.

Putting the bible aside, if a married man feels the need to go and have sex with another woman other than his wife,then in my eyes, he truly cannot love her or respect her.
When you marry a woman, it's a commitment, you want her and her alone for the rest of your life, your best friend, your companion, your lover, the other half of your heart.....Those vows really mean shit....

If he isn't committed to being faithful to that woman then he shouldn't marry her....

I do believe the scriptures, hence why my husband has authority over me and not you. I don't think God would want a married woman to take the advice of a strange man over her husband when it comes to moral matters. That would cause a wedge between my husband and I and what God has joined together no man can put asunder. But I'm sure it's easy to sway other married women to conform to your beliefs, but not this one, maybe God didn't join those easily swayed women together.

You don't have to live your life according to the bible, it's just recommended.

God comes first in my life, above all. He tells me to use scripture for correction, reproof and rebuke. I do not hate you or your husband, i am just trying to do what God requires of me.
