Can someone please pray for me

Thank you. I will try and kindle the inner light. My family is so loving too, they are the best family I could ask for, I feel such pain when I think how they were harmed and upset. It is not a dream though I wish it were. I will stand tall and walk forward in the Lord though, and I will be delivered, God willing.

If you were an underdeveloped manchild, you wouldn't have accepted my scathing critique with such maturity. I ask the questions because your answers may count to the Judge for what he/she plans for you. He/she is going to expect you to take responsiblity for your actions without blaming something or someone. If something or someone influenced your decisions, he/she is going to want to hear how you plan to not let the same thing, or worse, happen in the future.

It's wonderful that you have plans for the future. A good first step toward that future is realizing that you haven't "been put in a situation". You put yourself there. Your choices got you there, just like your choices will get you where you are going in the future. You're young. We all make mistakes and as hard as they are to deal with, in the end they an end up being a valuable lesson.

Parents know that having children can bring heartache. It doesn't change their love for you. Their love, trust, and knowing that it's a real rough spot now, but you'll grow and learn from it. I wish you the best, Thomas. I really do.

The counselor, like the Judge, know the next step could be harming someone.

Of course it's frightening and of course you're scared. Anyone would be. But, to not harm yourself or anyone else, is the best choice you'll make. I'm glad to see that's the one you've made. Prayer said OP. Just be honest with Him and repent (change your thinking). Sounds like you already have..not because you were caught, but because you know you shouldn't have gone.

I will pray but only for the will of God to move in your life, whatever that maybe.

God does chasten those he loves, start reading that bible, pray and fast. Humble yourself before Christ.

When I first started reading this thread, I was really surprised to see people saying things like "I don't know if I should pray for you, not until I find out how bad your crime was" or "I'll only pray for you if you do this or that."

What is wrong with you people?

EVERYONE is worthy of prayer. No matter what they've done, they're worthy of your prayers. I'd say that the worse the sin, the more prayer is needed.

I've got no issues with people who wanted to know more to have a better idea of how to pray, but I didn't get that vibe from everyone. Some people came across as harsh, like they would only agree to pray for the OP if he passed some kind of litmus test first to determine his worthiness.

If someone asks you for prayer, you pray for them. Period. No ifs, ands, or buts.

And please stop beating on the OP while he's down. He already has his accusers, he doesn't need us to be his accusers too. He came here to receive help, not more condemnation.

OP, you may not see it now, but through this action God may be saving you from whatever life path you were on before... and it sounds like you were basically going nowhere and definitely not serving God... so this event may become the catalyst that turns your life around. Just remember that God is in control of everything. You will go where he wants you to go, what you want and desire doesn't really matter in the long run. Lean on him.

Judges for the most part get promoted based upon their demonstrated fairness and lack of self-righteousness.

I think OP was given a warning, a sort of instinct he ignored, so he's suffering the consequences. I don't think God is chastening him for anything, but rather showing him the value of the lesson in don't hang out with losers, choose your friends wisely.

op , pray for forgiveness and you will receive it, you need to have complete faith in jesus and god , you need to stop WORRYING and LIVING IN FEAR, it wont solve a dam thing by worrying , you will only get sick from the poison which is a by product of fear, i know i make it sound simple and easy but you need to resolve yourself to the fact that he, jesus will preform a miracle . is this your first arrest??? if so and you are honest and sincere the court will see this and act accordingly.

Always remember my brother God can make good out of any bad. Within this darkness, if you look hard enough, will be a glimmer of light. Focus on that light, that is Gods light, Jesus the Christ. Spent some time in L.A. County jail for a while for something I did not do. I found in there a man who needed spiritual help and I believe that's what I was there to do. I have similar experiences from when I was a wasted youth. I didnt b&e homes but I would sneak into private business's just to prove I could be a ninja to myself

Jesus will come to your rescue but you must, must rely on him. You cannot deny him in front of your friends or peers or he will deny you.

Im goin to give you some advice that helped me; Get the best lawyer you can, the better more connected the Lawyer the better the chance you have of getting off with a lesser conviction. Do not I repeat, do not admit to any wrong doing, whether by plea bargain or similar, you are waiving your right to a trial and absolving your Lawyer from his responsibility to help you. You can still be a Godly honest man without admitting wrong doing in the court of law.

Pray about it, if the Holy Spirit is weighing heavily on your heart about admitting your involvement with these goons and their crimes, go with it. Sounds to me like your friends threatened you to go on this drug fueled joy ride because you were the only one with a car and if you hadn't they might have hurt you.

Finally if you ever attempt any similar activity remember, Jesus is not on your side while you are committing criminal acts and you very well could find me or someone like me, we are heavily armed and we wont hesitate firing our weapons at criminal home intruders.
