OP, started thread well... but the paranoia doesn't help.... Quoting: Citizenperth to help, the ebola symptoms are a dime a dozen to your regular flu... not well fever the runs [et al] tricky one that..... Vomiting and Bleeding are the ones to watch for. Even though bleeding usually indicates final stages, there *will* be those seeking medical attention at that stage. In addition, the affected have a ghost like stare. Look at the photos of the 10 year old boy, Saah Exco, who died from ebola during the Liberian quarantine. That does not look like flu. The boy looks nearly comotose. He needed assistance to get dressed. Most sick 10 year olds can still dress themselves. These are the things we need to look for. You are talking later stages, which by then you would know its ebola. But early stages mimic the flu. NO! My name is NOT spelled wrong. Grab a dictionary. Peace, Love & Prayers God bless America And YES. I am a nurse! SIDE NOTE- I find articles everywhere and post what I think GLP would like to know. I do not necessarily believe or endorse some articles I find. So do not bash the messenger |

My trip to the GP and questioning him on the disease dujour ... Foot and mouth, shingles... As for ebola, he's hoping for a vaccine, for a virus that already has 300 genetic mutations in less than a year, unlikely. It was bronchitis for me. :( Last Edited by uscrusader1 on 08/31/2014 08:06 AM |

You have obviously never actually seen someone really sick with the flu before then |

Sorry about the apparent paranoia concerning the 'baan' and disappearing post issue, Citizenperth. Its not really paranoia since I've seen it happen to me on many occasions. I just don't want it to happen again on this one if it can be helped. BTW, how long does a Karma pin last? I should know by now. I thought it might have been a full day.
