This is more than likely a star in the final throes of death...this would also explain the pulsing light in the sky folks have been seeing.

Google Cygnus X-3 and read up on these little buggers...and if you want more info check out the book Cosmic Bullets by Roger Clay and Bruce Dawson, especially ch4.

WTF is it, and where is it headed??

It is not coming here...I just want to clarify...it is way behind the sun...don't forget space is HUGE and we are seeing something in 2 D that is actually 3 D.

It is in it's own binary orbit with another star with a very short cycle. Again, these are very, very far away, but theses type stars and the particles they emit are known to effect the sun, our sun.

At a time when our sun's magnetic field is very weak these types of stars can literally 'pull' plasma off when it comes close, not close to us, closer to the sun.

No fear, it's been around for awhile.

It is spinning very fast on it's axial tilt, you can even see the magnetic field on the video in the original post. What I'm referring to as a bow shock could very well be the solar winds interacting with the magnetic field of said star.

I would expect another year to go by before there is any type of public announcement...but rest assured, many people know...many members here know too :)

ETA: I want to stress, there is nothing to fear here, this is really phenomenal for human consciousness...so buck up buttercup and enjoy your life and the things you ALREADY have and should be grateful for :)
