They certainly have your best interests at heart on the economic equality front. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51534256 Fixed While I agree with your sentiment, it's the Republicans who insist that the wealthy must become more wealthy as "job creators" (such BS) and that Corporations are more important than you or I or our children. The Democrats may want taxes, but at least there's some benefit in return. Is there money wasted? Sure. But at least it's got a chance of being spent on the general good in their hands. The GOP just wants the rich to get richer and a bigger military at OUR expense. How exactly does that help you? I call BS. All the democrats care about is power. That would be power over the people. The 'general good' would be what ever they think it should be. So, no thanks. I don't care who makes what or how much. The size of Warren Buffet's bank account or Bill Gates house has absolutely no effect on me. None. If you are an envious type, you may be jealous. But someone else's accumulated worth doesn't effect you until you can find a way to sell them something and relieve them of some of that wealth. If I am wrong, please tell me how that is. Adversity is inevitable, misery is optional. Do or do not. There is no try. "The enemy will never attack where you are strongest...He will attack where you are weakest. If you do not know your weakest point, be certain, your enemy will." Sun Tzu |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 44329723 United Kingdom 09/08/2014 05:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll look for the links & interviews when I get a chance, but going by these experts in law, there is apparenlty one way to quickly & peacefully get rid of the greedy unempathic lot, get power direct to the people. Interviews were on the old TPV channel. One was stop paying taxes, that taxes are not legally binding. It seems taxes, were brought in during WW2 to pay for the conflict, as there were many countries to finance. This law only applied to the duration of WW2, after that the taxes became non existent. Well.. so much for that! they kept going, people still...! paying them today. We're not legally bind, but unless one has a barrister saying 'where am i obliged to pay these taxes m'lud?' they have the upper hand. But.. this is the important one! this is HOW.. to get rid of the Powers That Be once & for all, a peaceful revolution. I'm sure the woman was a barrister who said this. She explained that ordinary people have ultimate power, because of a law from some agreement long ago in the past centuries regarding 'wards.' At the local council elections, one will vote for a local MP. Another election may be for EU member votes like Nigel Farage (yeah..! i voted for him!), then there are the council votes, on who will be the local councillor for the borough. Candidates for these have to be vetted, swear aliegence to the Crown, pay a registration fee.. etc. Now..! this is where PEOPLE POWER comes in! .. WARDS..! A Ward.. represents a small area within a borough, could be as small as a few streets, business park, residental.. whatever.. but usually only compromises of up to a few 1000 voters, maybe into the 10,000 figure is densely populated. Under some common English law, not sure if she mentioned if it had been left out of the Magna Carter.. or similiar.. but it's the one thing The Crown! cannot..! intefere with. The local people in the Ward, can nominate who they like, who does 'not!' have to swear aliegence to the Crown/Queen. If enought Wards.. are formed to take over a council, then it's it's only forward from there.. till a critial mass is reached. Game over! |

The self-made Issa famously made his money by selling car alarms, though did admit that he’d gotten in legal trouble as a kid for trying to steal cars. |

This then drives inflation which causes problems for everyone else by increasing prices while income for the average working Joe and small to medium business owners remains static. The only way to fool them into thinking everything is okay is by offering easy debt so they can buy nice things. It's an upward spiral. Not sure what the answer is really, because the ultimate end would have to be forced deflation or asset-holding caps, none of which would every be allowed by the ultra-rich ruling elite. |

They only give the bare minimum to buy the poor's vote. Amazing how cheap the poor's vote can be bought, mostly by empty promises. Although the middle class is now poor, they are still stupid enough to think the Republicans will be different because the Republicans buy their vote with a different set of empty promises. Eventually in the next few generations the Republicans are going to have to start copying the Dems to get the ex-middle class's poverty stricken kid's vote. |
