I always bought their organic products and my son especially likes the Mac and cheese and various cracker products-all organic and much better food quality than your krafts, nabiscos and Kellogg's. well, I'm sure we can kiss that all goodbye soon enough as this conglomerate will push the envelope and find a way to sneak it's food lab ingredients added without the average consumer knowing.

Ok, so I guess there aren't many GLPers out there who actually give a shit about good quality organic food. My ignorance I guess. I look at it as another organic company bites the dust and sells out to a global food manufacturer who will continue to produce but using the cheapest quality of food and preservatives while charging the same price.

I had heard for the past couple of years that Annie's was rally owned by Nestle or some other illuminati company. Of course, I don't see it on the boxes.

And then I just found out that Colgate now owns Tom's toothpaste and other products.

What's going on here? Trying to control everything much, are they?

So true.Just like Whole foods has GMOs but not labeled as such.
Its all a rip off.
Use to buy Toms of Maine fluoride free toothpaste but now there is only 2 or 3 thats left without it since Colgate-Palmolive bought them out about 8 years ago.Kept rather quiet but all these companies are owned by 4 or 5 major companies.
Thats why a sale product is a joke.One will be priced lower,come home and look it up and the same company owns the one on sale and the ones not on sale.

It was never certified organic, more like "made with organic cheese and tomatoes". The rest was origin unknown.

Wow, did not know about Annie's possibly being owned by underlying illuminati. I knew Tom's sold out awhile ago and I think Burt's Bees did as well.

Def. the quality of our food supply is slowing decipatating and I truly believe that's the plan. The goal is for our food supply to be completely GMO'd a d controlled by the likes of Monsanto, General Mills, Nestlé and Kellogg's.

Tx for the update. I was never a fan of Tom's or Burt's, but the Annie's news I am pissed about.

You had to pick and choose from Annie's what was good and what was awful. I tried a lot of products that were so awful. A few were good. Across all organic and gluten free combinations, you have to do that. But at least there were choices that aren't just full of chemical concoctions. They have so many ways now of skirting the laws how they list ingredients, I doubt half of what's in them is listed on the ingredient list. Heard from my holistic dentist that most all fruit in the US is sprayed with fluoride as a preservative and California wine is chock full of fluoride, French and Italian is banned or restricted. You can't trust anything anymore. It's all about the bottom line.

Ok, that makes me feel a little better. If my son wasn't so god damn picky about his Mac and cheese, I'd make home made, but he won't eat it. He'd prefer Kraft, but I say no way to that with the dyes, preservatives and lord knows what else...so he will eat Annie's brand.

How much almond oil, is there a particular kind you buy and where? Have just been looking into this as my hair is turning to straw from all the silicone and SLS.
