Asked my 8 year old daughter what was more important. I've taught her all wrong!!!
I asked her what was more important. Work or play?

My daughter answered like she usually does all of my questions. She said what she thought I wanted to hear without thinking about it.

She said work.

I quickly responded no. I told her laying is living and work is what we do well at so we have more money and time to play.

I think I must be working too hard for her not to realize that play is more important.

Not really sure why her answer keeps rolling around my head, but it really bothers me. I'm determined to focus more on play from now on. I don't want her to grow up believing that work is more important.

You work to live, not live to work or there would be no play. Over working is crazy, you can share the work, but to work just to get more stuff, waste most of your life.
Daughter out with my own way.
