The U.S. armed the "moderate" opposition in Libya. Look how well that worked out.

Same in Iraq and Afghanistan. The U.S. wants another cluster f__k.

Yes, it's the same as Iraq (US funded Sadam in the 1980s) and Afghanistan (we funded the AlQaida rebels there in the 1980s, too). And before that, we were manipulating things in Iran under the Shah in the '60s and '70s. And in Lebanon, in the late '70s and early 80s, too. "America" just cant seem to leave well enough alone. Thus, all the trouble we stir in these places comes back to bite us in the ass.

But no, "America" doesn't want any of what is coming - even most people in the government don't actually want it.

TPTB want a cluster f^ck that escalates into WW-III. They want it to cleanse the world by fire of all evidence of their thievery and manipulation, and to leave no power standing, save for the power that they control.

Sadly, I believe they shall get their wish, and very soon.

YOU, and only YOU are responsible for maintaining the balance of power between you and the rest of the semi-sentient beings in this world. You cannot disclaim or delegate that responsibility; it is a function of being a living, breathing "adult" in this world. If you can't manage yourself on those terms, someone else *will* manage you on their terms. Your terms are irrelevant. Buy a rifle; prepare to defend yourself. If you don't, what happens is *your* fault. Period.

I wonder if the government knows that like, a HUGE percentage of us know that this is an abstracted conflict that they manufactured?

Great point.

Honestly though, it's probably only 5% of the world's population that realize this, and TBTP don't give a flying fuck because we're just "conspiracy theorists" who are easily written off as nutjobs.

It's odd, having this perspective.

When I'm driving, I'll sometimes tune in to one of the local/partially syndicated 'conservative' talk shows, just to hear what the MSM heads are lying about. I'm still, after probably 17 years of being a "Conspiracy Buff," amazed at the callers who call in with their MSM-fed talking points. "We need to bomb ISIS now! Derp derp derp..."

Laughable how fucking ignorant the masses are, even now. Like, how fucking dumb do you have to be to STILL not have a clue that "they're lying?" Amazing.

We're fucked my friend.

Obama wanted to go to war against Syria
Russian threatened Obama
Obama backed down

Obama creates ISIS
We now get to go to war in Syria

See how this works?

Its all about Assad and Syria. The satanic bankers want to start WW3. They created ISIS as a boogy man in order to further the agenda of a one world government. The Bible says Damascus will be destroyed.

Assad is the ONLY ONE LEFT fighting radical Islam in the entire middle east. Thus why the bankers want him gone.

Prepare folks, the agenda is speeding up, we have entered the endgame.

Of course!
The Jihadist credited with being the ‘military mastermind’ of the recent ISIS victories is Tarkhan Batirashvili. If his name doesn’t sound very Arabic, it’s because it’s not. Tarkhan Batrashvili is a Russian - actually an ethnic Chechen from near the Chechen border to Georgia. But to give himself a more Arabic flair, he also goes by the name Emir (what else?) Umar al Shishani. The problem is he doesn’t look at all Arabic. No dark swarthy black beard: rather a long red beard, a kind of Chechen Barbarossa.
According to a November, 2013 report in The Wall Street Journal, Emir Umar or Batrashvili as you prefer, has made the wars in Syria and Iraq “into a geopolitical struggle between the US and Russia.”
That has been the objective of leading neo-conservatives in the CIA, Pentagon and State Department all along. The CIA transported hundreds of Mujahideen Saudis and other foreign veterans of the 1980s Afghan war against the Soviets in Afghanistan into Chechnya to disrupt the struggling Russia in the early 1990s, particularly to sabotage the Russian oil pipeline running directly from Baku on the Caspian Sea into Russia. James Baker III and his friends in Anglo-American Big Oil had other plans. It was called the BTC pipeline, owned by a BP-US oil consortium and running through Tbilisi into NATO-member Turkey, free of Russian territory.

The leader of ISIS is a Chechen called Omar al-Shishani, one of hundreds of Chechens fighting for ISIS. He is known as Omar the Chechen — a young, fierce military commander.

It might be too late, they are too powerful now and US and NATO are very weak now.

I still don't understand what Obama's new address was? It was my understanding Isis, Isil, and Alquida were all the same, just different names for the same organization.
Wasn't the USA always at war with the same terrorists? What is new that wasn't already happening before?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45550695

The expected outcome of the plan is what is different. Doing the same thing in the same way and expecting the same outcome despite a completely different outcome is idiocy.

From the article: [link to www.nytimes.com]

"Mr. Obama outlined a plan that will bolster American training and arming of moderate Syrian rebels to fight the militants. Saudi Arabia has agreed to provide a base for the training of those forces.

Mr. Obama called on Congress to authorize the plan to train and equip the rebels "

In short this is how we got into this mess in the first place, "arming and training the rebels". The rebels are now the militants. Which requires us to train even more rebels to fight the militants.
