I've weighed no more than 120 lbs for the last twenty years, I lost weight when I added grass-fed butter to my diet. The source of the oil is important. Good butter, organic olive oil and minimal refined anything and you'll be slim. Seriously, the fat thing is a lie. You need fats, you will not feel good or function well without them. WaterLilly |

I figured you'd get it. Sigh. WaterLilly |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17621279 Chicken, Beef or fish Go to your meat or fish market and get some fresh bones and make your own stock or broth...there are plenty of guides on the internet or youtube. I do make my own chicken, beef, veggie and shrimp stock. I also make my own salad dressing every week. I also eat coconut oil right off the spoon several times a day. There are so many good things about eating high fat low carb. You feel so much better. You lose weight. Your skin glows and your hair shines. You aren't hungry..... I could go on and on. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17621279 BUTTER is alright...much healthier choice than margarine. [link to authoritynutrition.com] Read for yourself.... I threw out margarine years ago. I do have butter sticks for cooking and non hydrogenated spread for other uses. Never could get used to skim milk but 2% is good. I tend to avoid fat free items such as sour cream etc. Why bother with it if you can't have the real thing? |
