God has covered my ass too..I prayed very hard and ashed for protection and he saved me too I was confused but I think I asked and god gave protection even though I don't follow or go to church but I believe |

After two or three seconds the stone tumbled past and barely nicked my arm. I looked down and realized that it was definitely big enough to squish my head. I haven't climbed since. |

Maybe everyone is saved by the game or God if its not their time yet. Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light. |

Carnac The Magnificent User ID: 60411874 United States 09/12/2014 09:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was living in the Philippines about 7 or 8 years ago, I was going out the back door of a house we were leasing in Davao. As I pushed the back screen door out -- what turned out to be a king cobra fell onto my head, then down on my shoulder. When I first saw it on my shoulder, all I saw was it's head - and I thought it was a lizard, so I flicked it off of me as I jumped back. It wasn't until it was in the air that I realized it was a snake - but I had also lost my footing and was on the way to the floor... Fortunately for me, the tail of the snake got caught in the screen door as I stepped back and the door slammed shut. The snake was about 2 or 3 feet off the ground -- and striking at me but could not quite bite. I quickly got out of the way and when security came to kill the snake -- the guy said it was a baby king cobra -- one of the most deadly snakes in the world. Several close calls in the matter of seconds -- and the odds the snake would get it's tail caught in the door? Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

I think I probably had people praying for me since I was in war so thats inevitable, not many Christians in family, really just one of my Aunts. Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light. |

Quoting: George_Washington My apologies for not being more intricate earlier :) I do believe those of us that have these events happen in our lives were in need of a bit of a wake up call, and perhaps it is by those events that the motivation to actively change things pushes us along to the point where our existence makes a difference in someones life down the road, whether it be great, or small. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 37579514 United States 09/12/2014 10:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was 18 I smoked something that was laced with a massive dose of PCP (unknown to me at the time). I was tripping out of my mind and when I would come back to reality my heart was ready to explode. Then my heart stopped but I was still conscious for a few seconds. I cried out to God to save me (never had been a Christian) and my heart started beating again. Thus began a three year journey at the end of which I became a born again Christian. Rock climbed for 15 years and had 2 miracles. Car crash that even the EMT said should have killed me. I'm still here for a reason. |
