In a little-known first draft of Don Quixote, Cervantes had the windmills eating entire villages of people and spitting them out on the dusty roads of Catalonia. This must be what the good doctor was referring to. Because if fighting Ebola were tilting at windmills, we'd be wasting our time, but it wouldn't matter because they would be harmless. Hey:) the doctor is right by saying "a fight against windmills" it is a german phrase and means the fight/work is like desperate/senseless...you won´t win it. greetings Shit hit the windmill. |

ReefRaider User ID: 58842632 United States 10/11/2014 04:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Listen up: there is not one single case of second hand transmission in this country! Any so called Ebola that is here has been "imported". Quoting: ReefRaider If this is in fact Ebola, it would literally be uncontainable by this point! You have to remember, this started in May and flights from affected African nations have not changed! Now I'm seeing stories of poisened water sources in Africa- use your head people! Panic when there is confirmed reliable Intel indicating second hand transmission...NOT YET! again if this supposed ebola in west africa was what they say it it… that area would long already have been seriously devastated and the globe would already have a very serious problem… whatever this is they call ebola actually looks like a multi celled organism. Its too big to be a virus. I don't believe the story as presented at all. it actually looks more like a multi celled fungus. Very interesting assessment West Tx! From the very beginning I thought this virus was rather large myself. Time will tell. Life's a Beach, then you Dive! |

Quoting: ReefRaider Filoviridae are notoriously large, long spindles of proteins that can rival bacteria in total length. That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably. John Michael Greer |

And where it is possible, for example, in Nigeria or Senegal. Quoting: Face Palmer Do we expect to keep the seasonal flu contained to Africa? IMO Ebola is coming here; no one seems to concerned in stopping it. The good news is that YOU can stop Ebola from lasting in your body if and when it infects YOU. “In a 1995 peer review publication out of Africa the use of selenium supplementation was given there [Africa] and it reversed Ebola. … they found in a large number of cases there were gross deficiencies of selenium. … in this country there are a number of cases of gross selenium deficiency as well.” Robert Scott Bell Note a lack of selenium allows viruses to rapidly multiply Much of Africa as well as the USA has selenium poor soil. Many People are not dying of Ebola they are dying of a LACK of SELENIUM. “Selenoproteins, like glutathione are some of the strongest antioxidants that work to prevent cellular damage from free radicals; they also fight viruses, help regulate your thyroid and assist your immune system.” Doctor David Williams “Selenium blocks the mutations that cause the most mortal form of the flu.” J American College Nutrition 20: 384–88S, 2001; “Supplementing with selenium, 200mcg/day in individuals with normal blood levels of selenium resulted in a 118% increase in the ability of lymphocytes to kill tumor cells and an 82% increase in the activity of natural killer cells.” Roy, Note "normal" is often suboptimal due to the poor health status of the "normal" person “Selenium deficiency has been shown to inhibit resistance to infection as a result of impaired white blood cell and thymus function. Supplementing with selenium 200 mcg/day has been shown to stimulate white blood cell and thymus function.” Gershwin et al IMO work on building your immune system and sleep a whole lot better.
