Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
Sad yet hopeful for better things to come
Sad and I don't know why?
I ask for God's help
But still want to cry
Sad but no tears come out
What is it that makes me want to pout
Feel like death but know I can't die
I ask God but he won't tell me why
I know this world isn't for me
it's something I, but no one else seems to see
I want to punch and kick my way out..
Life is so unfair...
I have sorrows but don't know if I should share
The bible says to stay strong
But I don't know how to continue on,
I don't know whether to be sad or mad,
but my sorrows are strong for a young lad.
Drinking and drugs just make it worse,
Is it satan who has me cursed?
Whats the point of this all?
Will I inevitably fall?
Jesus come and show the world,
we are weak without you,
We are nothing without you,
Are you really that far away?
Or is your time nearing close?
Show us for we are weak,
I don't know what other words you expect me to speak..
I just know im reaching my peak..
Here I am in a cold world that shows no love,
Come and show us your power from above...

Re: Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
I feel like running but I don't know what from
I want to do something but has my time come?
How should I spend my time?
Besides composing myself a rhythm
Should I write down how I feel?
Or be focusing on my next meal?
People tell me to get a job..
Instead I just want to sob..
God grant me power and strength
show me your plan in great length
What is destined for me?
will I die just like a tree?
In the soil shall I rot?
or go to the heavens..the place I can see not..
Is God guiding my actions?
Is it God who tells me how to act?
I want to see the devil sacked..
The evils of the world.. brought to their knees
and Gods power and Grace to sail the Godly through the seas
Will the mighty evils fall?
Or continue laughing at us all?

Re: Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
As I lay awake,
I wonder if in gods kingdom I will be granted a stake?
Jesus has said the righteous shall never fall,
What is the destiny of us all?
Will we perish like the people of the past
or Meet the Alpha and Omega, the first and last,
Though the times ahead may be rough..
I think its for a purpose
This purpose is known by only God himself
He has shown us the way,
He has told us he is here to stay,
when the mighty Jesus comes down,
From then on I will never frown,
When the kingdom reaches earth,
I will then not regret my birth.

I respectfully disagree. We live in some sad times. I live with the hope Jesus can save us from this evil world.

I've known exactly what you write about. I'm 60 now and I reached the conclusion many years ago that what Jesus really wanted was for us to find GOD in our selves. Don't listen to man with all his drivel and controlling doctrine.

The spiritual nature is deep within us and you must be introspective enough to find it within yourself. It's okay if you don't believe me now...... you will eventually.

Your poetry, except for the religious theme sounds very similar to what I wrote 40 or more years ago.

Re: Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
I liked the first paragraph which was pretty good, very broad visioned. Something anyone can read and Identify with.

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Matthew 7:11
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Thank you for reading and commenting. A lot of people in this world are sad, and go through rough times.

I appreciate some wisdom from a person who has been through a lot. At your age I'm sure you've experienced many things I have not, and with experience can come wisdom.

I just want to say, and although I don't like to push it on anyone, don't give up hope that Jesus may come back in the Physical. Because as you've said he wants us to find him in the spiritual, inside ourselves.

But he also promised one day he would return in the physical. So don't lose hope.

Jesus has made us a promise. And I believe him to stick by his word. Sometimes being strong means accepting parts of your destiny are out of your control. Sometimes being strong is accepting Gods Will and grace, and trusting in him instead of yourself.

Thanks for the scriptures and the positive comment. Gods message and the future coming kingdom is a positive message. Sometimes times get rough though, and it's good to get it all out. When we are sad and mad God listens.

Re: Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
nice post. I too have spent time writing to God in poetry. These words just flowed out of me like a stream.

I run to you again, O God
To render you control
I fought the fight with my own pride
And did give up my soul
In sorrow do I come again
I pray that I do not pretend
That my sorrow is true unto the end
That when I die I understand
That poverty apart from You
Has always been my role

Rise now and accept My Seal, the Seal of the Living God. Recite this Crusade Prayer (33) to acknowledge My Seal and accept it with love, joy and gratitude.
O my God, my Loving Father, I accept with love and gratitude Your Divine Seal of Protection. Your Divinity encompasses my body and soul for eternity. I bow in humble thanksgiving and offer my deep love and loyalty to You my Beloved Father. I beg You to protect me and my loved ones with this special Seal and I pledge my life to Your service forever and ever. I love You Dear Father. I console You in these times Dear Father. I offer You the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of  Your dearly beloved Son In atonement for the sins of the world and for the salvation of all Your children. Amen.
Go, My children and do not fear. Trust in Me, Your beloved Father, who lovingly created each of you. I know every single soul, every part of you is known to Me. Not one of you is loved less than the other. Because of this I do not want to lose one soul. Not one. Please continue to pray My Divine Mercy Chaplet every day. One day, you will understand why this purification is needed. Your Loving Father In Heaven

Re: Some poetry I wrote about Jesus, about the end times
A sin to bad to pardon
A burden too hard to bear
A soft, warm heart was hardened
Eyes blank with a glossed stare
And all the dew was frozen
And winter had its fun
The Lord was found forsaken
And winter had no Son
I looked up into heaven
To see the hope of spring
To see the frost and all that was lost
And the Son warm everything
The answer clear, the Son is near
He comes quickly bearing spring
The end is near, The Lord hold dear
His children under His wing
