Then disappeared. Flying at a medium to slow pace seemed slightly low in the air.

It turned and it seemed to be a reflective oblong dirigible, then it went behind the hill. Looked three dimensional, rounded, grayish, my eyesight is not that good and I didn't see it for that long. Blimp, hot air balloon, dirigible. Very low.

The Navy apparently confirmed it was a trio of Trident missiles launched from a sub off the Southern California coast. The rocket(s) was/were seen from L.A. to at least Washington State and as far inland as Minden, Nevada. So were we all seeing the same rocket, or just one of the three? [link to www.ktvn.com]
