Anyone know of a good and easy to use free video editing software?
I have tried a few then when I went to upload my vid, I wasn't allowed unless I purchased it, real waste of time.
Basically I want to crop or blur face out (have tried youtube but it's not good at blurring). Also want to cut bits out etc but I really have no experience-need a dead easy one.

Thanks in advance !

Windows Movie Maker is pretty clean and easy (if you are running a PC). Not sure if it gives you the functionality you are looking for, but as far as a basic and quick video editor that's free, it's not too bad.

sorry either fall into the free hacked version way of getting software and might crash your system.....or do like the rest of us and pay up....adobe does offer a cloud based way i think it is like $30 a month....if you don't pay that month you can use....i think it is pay as you go.
me i would just buy it.
a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants.

Re: Anyone know of a good and easy to use free video editing software?
I'm a total amateur so not much help but I'll just give you my experience in case it helps you somehow. I searched for such program about a year ago and found windows movie maker (the new version!!!!) the easiest to use, as much as I don't like the corporate microwhores. if you have - i think - at least windows 7, you can download it from MS site.

i'm not sure you'd be able to blur/crop faces with it but it's possible to switch to some photo or similar while the person is talking (just add the video as a audio track to the photo)for that portion and insert photo or another video for the video track)

once I got the hang of it, cutting things out, adding subtitles, intros etc., was relatively easy for someone not technical and someone who's editing video for the first time.

for what is worth, i hope you get the right one for you! hf
