Sandy hook

Two years into this, and I still have no clue what happened at SH. That should say a lot.

I did see the dance clip, and it was intriguing. But there are a lot of "this person is Adam Lanza" or "this person is [X]" claims in this strange story, and I've noticed that the mind can be easily lead to believe that someone looks like someone else. If you tell someone "this is Adam," and then show a vid or an audio clip, the mind tends to want to believe that it actually is--something like that. I was testing it out on myself with random pictures, lol, and yesterday I saw a pic of Harry Potter next to a random college student and told myself to pretend they were the same person--voila, they seemed to have amazingly similar features. Try it out--it's pretty weird.

But anyway--the call-in, too, was intriguing and I thought, "Man, if there really is an Adam this is EXACTLY what he'd sound like."

But again--there are a lot of people in the world who share characteristics. Like, how many nerdy 18-22 year olds could you find and have them go on a rant about chimpanzees or whatever? Probably not that hard--and it could even have been an actor.

But I think one very, very likely thing is that if Adam Lanza is a fake person (or seriously modified one), whoever did it would have been more convincing if they based "him" on real people. How hard would it be to mall-stalk DDR dancers until you found a geek and filmed him from behind, right? The actual photos of Lanza have clearly been Photoshopped, so we can't take his hair or eye color seriously; they could have been morphed to match anyone. His face in some of the younger photos shows every sign of being warped itself--I have a friend who does humorous shocking things to people's faces in Photoshop, and one thing she ALWAYS does is use that same, exact "troll" filter or whatever that makes the eyes bug a little and the mouth corners turn up--I swear someone did that to Adam's pictures, especially the 5th grade shot and the Saint Rose shots.

Anyway, probably TMI, but I'll add that something real is being covered up as far as the emergency response. There are simply too many cops and lawyers and citizens locked in deadly battle over records and 911 calls and gunshots and witness statements, etc., for there not to have been something actually wrong with the emergency response--even if that was an emergency response to a staged shooting, as some believe. People have limited budgets, time and interest. I don't buy that they're creating all these massive legal problems for themselves just for fun. I don't buy that the bitter animosity developing between different factions is fake. I don't buy that Sandy Hook was a "fake town" etc.

And yet, all that said, the story is absolutely, positively not right.
