Re: Has anyone on GLP ever seen God
I have, in my dreams. 4 dreams so far that i remember.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 40731538

Finally, some one has seen God, albeit in a dream. Care to elaborate? What did God look like? Did God talk to you?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1195413

As you may know, dreams are often symbolic. If i think about God as a being i would picture him as an old man with a white beard clothed in white, and as such i saw him in that form, atleast in 3 of them, in the other he was a young man. Yes God talked to me, in one of them He gave me a name :D The rest is more private.

I give up. You made up your mind before anyone responded to this thread.

Take it easy.

Op, I'd bet you've never seen oxygen, but you believe it exists, right?

Why?

Because someone told you it does?

Re: Has anyone on GLP ever seen God
I've seen the Father about 33 years ago while looking up outside. It's hard to explain, but I saw His presence and I knew He was looking back down at me. I was speechless, but looking back (I was 18) I took that event for granted. This lasted about 5 minutes. This happened because I prayed in tongues about 4 hours a day, for a couple of weeks.

I saw Jesus in visions 2 or 3 times in my lifetime.

Re: Has anyone on GLP ever seen God
And if I told you that yes, I did see God, would you believe me? How would you know if I did or not? How would that input help you? By the replies you've given so far, you seem like your mind is already made up, but are basically trying to fuck with everyone. You're not the first.

I wonder about your motivation in asking such a question. You must not be a 'seeker of God' or you would have embarked on a journey to seek God yourself, rather than asking folk on a conspiracy site. I've no doubt you're intention is to mock, not learn.

Nice try.

And along those lines: have you ever seen love, OP? You can't see it but you know it exists. No one has to tell you it exists. You just feel it, right?

Okay, I'm done with this thread because the point has been made. Not one of you have seen God, but you rationalize the existence of God. From dreams, to nature, to works, to the impure spirit that will disintegrate if he were to see God.

Face it, God as a single-entity does not exist, never has, never will.

That is not to say there isn't a "creative force" or even life after death, but there is no one thing you can point at say exclaim "There's God!"

You're dead wrong OP. God does exists as a single entity. It's called the Universe. Now go back to reading your comic books.

want to see God?

Get baptized in the Holy Spirit, pray in tongues DAILY, CONSISTENTLY and you will. He will also guide you in your life and bless you.

That's what I thought, your mind was already made up, you were not looking for any answers, only validation of your own views.

Many people said they have, yet you ignore it, because it goes against your own belief.

All i have to do is close my eyes. I see a loving face. It is made of light, all colors like a rainbow swirling all over it. Last week a hand reached out and touched my cheek when I was asking forgiveness for being too harsh on someone. I knew I was when I felt Gods touch.

hesright Great Point! It's how most of the sheeple operate, simply looking to validate their already made up mind instead of looking for the real answer and knowledge.

Mankind is too profane to stand in the presence of God.

Even the Angels fear being burned up and consumed by his might. The Seraphim angels have countless wings to protect themselves in the presence of God, they can't even look on his face.

Mortal man could not withstand the might of the presence of God. Period

Re: Has anyone on GLP ever seen God
Yes, I believe that I saw God the Father once in India but I imagine it would be difficult for me to prove it until memories can be shared and even then I'm not sure such a technology would do my memory justice or that God would permit such a transfer. Perhaps no one can see God and I just saw His reflection or 'shadow' so to speak, but at the time He appeared as absolute, containing all time, space, matter, anti-matter, anything imaginable and unimaginable. All that is is in orbit around His perfect human-like form, He is adorned in splendor and His eyes are too beautiful to behold for more than a moment, at least that's how it was for me then, many years ago. As for 'no man can see God an live', I was pretty much dead when I saw Him and I was given new eyes to be able to see Him.
I also once saw Jesus appear out of Venus, on the cross, writhing with life and light. After I bowed and declared my eternal love for Him He melted my heart.

You claim He doesn't exist, and no one can prove otherwise.

I claim He does exist, and no one can prove otherwise.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Your mindset was fixed long before you ever posed a question.

Try opening your mind to at least possibilities.

There are some things that are unknowable, such as the true nature of GOD which the human mind cannot comprehend but can only apprehend through intuitive insight.

The “ I Am” has no boundaries, works outside of the box,

The “ I Am” simply exists is unaffected and unaffectable by any outside stimulus.

The “ I Am “ Stands alone, can't be named, can't be owned, can't be labeled.

The turtle whispers: "I speak to you from the Great Oneness.

I am he who came into Being from the Great Abyss.

I was alone, none existed with me for I was, am, and will be all of Existence.

The Spirit moved, and out of the abyss , there came the first THOUGHT (air) URGE (fire) and FEELINGS (water)

There was nothing before me, behind me, above me and below me.

The urge inspired the feelings.

The thought produced the action, and that first action was existence."
