Is caffeine the real gateway drug?

They say marijuana is a gateway drug to other drugs, but I have to take exception to that false claim.

There are many things consumed by most people starting often at very young age that might be a better choice to call the gateway drug.

For example: sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup. it is in nearly everything in your grocery store. and as addictive as any drug.

Caffeine, is in practically all soft drinks, coffee, and teas and probably about as addictive as nicotine.

Caffeine is an additive to most things it is in. So when I watched my 9 year old nephew being given coffee to get him to wake up this morning I nearly lost it. I raised 4 children who I never allowed any drug to be their means of morning wake up. In my mind it was 'get off your ass and go run around the house a couple of times' get your blood moving. or i made them take a shower. Ever try to sleep through a shower? Not very easy.

So why so we as consumers take this crap from satanic corporation who from one side of their mouth tell us how much they care for us and bring death by their deeds and wares?

Can you say conspiracy? Good I knew you could.
