1 Year Old Left to Wander in the Rain - Father Has 16 priors.

A Cape Coral one-year-old is in the custody of his grandfather after he was found wandering alone in a rainstorm Wednesday evening. The boy's father was arrested Thursday morning for child neglect.

One-year-old Dominique was found in only a red onesie and tennis shoes, walking alone in the rain at the Bernwood Trace apartments just off Six Mile Cypress Parkway.

“My husband came to the gate of the complex and he saw a baby out by the dumpster. [He] was pretty much walking in the rain, didn't know where he was,” said Nicole Harris whose fiance found the one-year-old.

Harris' fiance found the child wandering behind a gate in the parking lot of the front entrance. Harris' fiance says the boy appeared to be lost and was too young to know how to communicated in words.

"It made me upset, I cried, I cried I did. When I took my baby to go up there to see him, I teared up instantly like who does that to a child, it's not right, it's really not," said Harris.

Harris tells us they sat with the boy for more than an hour, and no one showed up to claim him.

When Fort Myers Police arrived, Officer Kristi Naroni was assigned to the case.

“My mother instincts started kicking in and I wanted to care for this child like he was my own,” said Naroni. "He was scared. He was confused. He didn't know what was going on."




What gets me is the stupid ass mother defends this MORAN!
