Ebola could continue to sicken people for years, warns WHO
WHO officials say cases are continuing to increase exponentially and Ebola could sicken people for years to come

LONDON—New estimates from the World Health Organization warn the number of Ebola cases could hit 21,000 in six weeks unless efforts to curb the outbreak are ramped up.

Since the first cases were reported six months ago, the tally of cases in West Africa has reached an estimated 5,800 illnesses. WHO officials say cases are continuing to increase exponentially and Ebola could sicken people for years to come without better control measures.

CDC scientists conclude there may be as many as 21,000 reported and unreported cases in just those two countries as soon as the end of this month, according to a draft version of the report obtained by The Associated Press. They also predict that the two countries could have a staggering 550,000 to 1.4 million cases by late January.

CDC has been a lot more apocalyptic in its predictions/language than WHO.
That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably.

Apocalyptic, and likely more accurate.
The WHO and the UN have both continued to make statements about containment time frames and low ball number of cases. They continue to get these wrong, and continue to lose everyone's confidence.

It's pretty fucked up. Pretty doomy.

Never thought of that, but you might be right. When it gets monotonous health professionals will let their guards down and that opens the door for the virus.

Ebola: Lessons learned 6 months into outbreak

WILL THIS OUTBREAK JUST BURN ITSELF OUT?

Yes, but that's a worst case scenario. If control measures don't work, at some point, Ebola will have infected everyone who hasn't already been killed or recovered from the virus and there won't be enough people to maintain the virus' spread, said Dr. Bruce Aylward, WHO assistant director-general in charge of emergencies

IS EBOLA BECOMING MORE INFECTIOUS?

We don't know. Experts say it's difficult to assess that in the current outbreak since there may be so many issues involved. It's possible the virus has become more infectious than before -- which might explain the spiraling caseloa

It's similar 'boiling a frog' or 'trial balloons'.

Rather than spit out the truth all at once, they let it out slowly so the public doesn't freak out.

Looks like in as little as 2 months the 'flu kills more' crowd will be eating their words, unfortunately.

And for the other 'it will burn itself out crowd' y'all need to STFU.

For one, ebola has never burned itself out. It has been progressing as many viruses do. With the huge number infected now, expect that it will spread forever, just like the flu does every single year.

Could the Ebola outbreak last forever?

If the world doesn't get the Ebola outbreak in West Africa under control quickly, the disease could become a permanent fixture in the region, spreading as routinely as malaria or the flu, the World Health Organization warns today in a new report.

Although some experts dispute that dire scenario, many agree that the virus could circulate for years if it's not stopped soon.

The notion that Ebola could become endemic in West Africa -- spreading routinely, rather than in sporadic outbreaks -- is "a prospect that has never before been contemplated," according to the report, published online in the New England Journal of Medicine.

There could be 20,000 cases by Nov. 2, with thousands of new cases per week, the report said. About 70% of patients are dying from the illness.

Open borders, no flying restrictions, etc. guarantees the spread, just like the flu. Flu shots are profitable to big pharma so will the rush to implement an uneccessary vaccine for this contagion.

Don't drink water from mud puddles, don't eat fruit bats and other bush meats and bathe with soap. Problem solved. Won't spread in developed countries like it is doing in Africa.

They just need to figure out how to confine it to west Africa and not spread from the continent. From what I've read the populations there just refuse to adhere to the direction of those there trying to assist them and prevent the virus from spreading. There's no hope for it.

"Disease is earned not acquired." _ Louis Pasteur

Your best protection from any disease, which comes from within, as most human beings walking around today are cesspools of the worst internal filth on the planet from the rooter to the tooter (the colon to the mouth), is the seed bearing fruit and herb, organically grown of course (Genesis 1:29), and fasting.

Go ahead...ask any forensic pathologist about the state of the alimentary tract after death contained in the average human being. He will tell you of the impacted feces, worms, parasites, eggs, fermentation, morbid pus and mucous, putrefaction, salts, poisonous water, etc.

OUR BRAINS, AND THE REST OF OUR BODIES, WERE DESIGNED TO OPERATE ON PURE CLEAN BLOOD. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING IN THE AVERAGE SOUL YOU SEE ON THE STREET, INCLUDING YOURSELF. IF YOUR DIGESTIVE TRACT IS FILLED WITH THIS PUTRID MASS OF FILTH, YOUR BLOOD STREAM IS POLLUTED WITH THIS FILTH ALSO.

This filthy reality clouds are minds (alters behavior, makes us violent, mean, depressed, etc.), creates pain, makes us susceptible to disease (i.e. Ebola, colds, flu, etc.)separates us from God (or even the belief in God), threatens our health, as what I described regarding this filth is in fact disease.

The average wild animal's (undomesticated) colon is cleaner than your mouth.

One of these days, I will wake some of you up. I've posted this information in the past, but most reject it, and that's too bad. If you think the industrial medical complex is interested in your well being, you are really bought in.

The food channels tell you to eat whatever and however much you want to eat...we obey.

"The terrain (alkalized/acidic body) is everything, the microbe is nothing." - Louis Pasteur, after admitting on his deathbed that his germ theory was all wrong.

Men were designed to be fasting, praying, worshipers, but our addiction to foods, especially bad foods, precludes us from realizing our full potential in these spiritual gifts.

Jesus made it clear there were going to be obstacles in our lives that will come against us that will be such strongholds that we will have to truly die to the needs of our flesh, fasting: Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Please, I beseech all to consider what I'm saying, and you won't worry about Ebola, or any disease, as a clean body is impervious to disease (God made us perfect). Read Doctor Arnold Ehret's, "Chronic Constipation' available on Amazon. I'm not getting paid to help you save your life or your health...this is nothing but Love for people.

Sir, vaccines are biological warfare against you.

Vaccines spread disease, they don't prevent disease.

If vaccines really worked, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I beseech all to go on the CDC's website and view the ingredient's list for vaccines. When did mercury become safe for the brain, or formaldehyde, for that matter? Vaccines are a toxic and metallurgical nightmare.

They are used for population reduction, see Bill Gates solution to population reduction on YOUTUBE.

Here's the big question nobody wants to ask. I guess it's racist or something. Why don't the people in these infected countries help their own damned selves? You don't need a functioning health care system to not get Ebola. You just have to not be a tard and you have to practice sanitation and keep your ass away from infected people and infected dead bodies.

There is no cure or treatment for ebola. The only thing 1st world countries setting up field hospitals with supplies is going to do is make these people more comfy while they die.

The lack of help from the 1st world is not excuse for these tards to keep on spreading this crap and making the situation worse.

I'll answer my own question. The reason Ebola is so bad in the countries with the run away outbreak is because the people who live in those countries have really low IQs and they are unable to grasp what Ebola is that it's real. There is no helping them. The sooner the world wraps it's collective thick multiculturalism pushing head around this fact the sooner this shit will be contained.
