As the market inflates, it takes more points change to make up any given percent.

I'd say this was pretty bad.

Was told by a broker that this is when banks close their books for the month. That's 3 days prior to the end of the month. Now you "Joe Shit the Rag man" can't do that with your 401K. You close out on the last day of the month.

Interesting to see how tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday do.

I personally hate the iPhone, however, they've only had 9 complaints for phones bending. This doesn't erase a decade of exponential growth. They certainly aren't toast and no, today wasn't that much of a drop, and for sure no doom. It will probably all be made back tomorrow.

U.S. stocks ended with sharp losses on Thursday, with the S&P 500 suffering its biggest one-day decline since July, as Apple tumbled and the dollar rose to a four-year high.

The day's decline was broad, with all ten primary S&P 500 sectors lower on the day and most down more than 1 percent. About 80 percent of stocks traded on both the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq ended lower.
