The FBI indicates it took stats from all sources of law enforcement so the sandy hook murders should've been accounted for on the FBI report if they had happened but it didn't and the FBI will not falsify the report unlike the Connecticut gov. "The FBI's data, known as the Supplemental Homicide Report, is considered the primary list of U.S. homicides by law enforcement agencies and academics studying violence. Most of the problem, researchers say, is because of mistakes made by the local police agencies who voluntarily submit their reports to the FBI." [link to www.usatoday.com] Did you guys know that word on the street is that NPD guys didn't file reports to the Newtown Police Department on Sandy Hook? They were interviewed by CSP--but didn't file their own reports, with their own agency. That's the rumo(u)r, anyway. If the FBI had ONLY omitted Sandy Hook, the FBI deal on SH would be intriguing--but the FBI is missing craploads of cases, not just SH. What's genuinely interesting about the FBI and Sandy Hook is that their investigation into it is still open. |

The crime stats are taken by the FBI and in no way are the stats specific to county or citywide police only. Quoting: Dilemmaps3 I am not really interested in the information that someone seems to have presented as something to consider...I am more interested in the fervor to debunk it. Last Edited by Dudeashaneo on 09/26/2014 09:58 PM Is there a chance we could get some honesty up in here? |

The crime stats are taken by the FBI and in no way are the stats specific to county or citywide police only. Quoting: Dilemmaps3 You're WRONG. Google "2012 Connecticut State Police murder statistics". It has a tribute to the Sandy Hook victims and is not only detailed by county and demographics (crime, victim age, assailant type, race etc.), but by individual city as well. One of the first few pages says Sandy Hook victims are included in overall state murder totals but they were listed under Middlesex county for some reason but not listed by demographics. Why would they list them under the murders in Middlesex county which is not a neighboring county, nor do the state police operate out of that county. |
