thought that just occurred to me... since radio signals do go out into space, it is entirely possible that aliens on another planet may be AT THIS VERY MOMENT posting on alien bulletin boards the same stuff that we are (of course on last week's, month's or year's show, depending on how far they are out there)

For those of us who are computer retards, can you explain how to use these so called newsgroups?

That could get a little difficult.
You use you email program for it such as (what I use) out look express.
Usually your isp has a news group server, you'll need ot know the name of it and set it up pretty much as you would an email address only it's a little less complicated for news groups.

I know that was the bare minimum but that really is just about it.
