US Navy Releases Report, Says Testing Might Kill Dolphins, Whales

Ok, so my fiancé is a US Navy veteran...and I have much respect to all our men and women in uniform. But I know that TPTB within the United States Military don't always care about the well being of our citizens, let alone humanity as a whole, and especially animals and sea life if they get in the way of their goals....
My fiancé has told me stories of dolphins that would swim with his ship when they would embark, and how the crew would try to do everything in their power not to hurt them, or the whales they would encounter in the Pacific waters near Sasebo, Japan, and other Asian waters. But I also know that if they were given orders to mow them down, they would, because it is their duty to follow orders.
So I guess the US military really just doesn't give a shit...
