That's kind of a dumb response to the outbreak: "Ebola could spread beyond Africa."

Well, duh. Yes, it could. That's like saying it might rain tomorrow. Or, I might catch a cold this winter. Or, I might bake my kids' birthday cakes this year. Or, a tornado could touch down in Oklahoma next year. Or, the grocery store might run out of eggs at Easter. Yes, it might just happen. Or, it might not.

People are pretty dumb if they read anything into that comment.
