I think that more than 99,9% of the Fuel is contained, aerosolized is afaik. ca. 150Kg. I don't remember the Numbers of how much of nuclear Material is inside of Daiichi but it is a lot because there is no real Recyling of this Fuel/ Spend Fuel. As far as i remember: the real Amount inside of the common Spend Fuel Pool (not the Nr. 4 ) is up to 10 Times bigger (nearly 1.000 Tones) than all the Assemblies of the 6. Reactors in Daiichi!
