Same story being referenced over and over again. I was under the impression that this was a confirmed ebola case (according to MSM, of course), but it's just the usual "low risk" BS.

Lol, news 13 Houston here, interviewing airport travellers:

The confirmed part came from someone on facebook with a connection to the hospital.

It is quite possible the hospital knew the news was coming out.. so went ahead and made a statement about it being unlikely until they speak with the CDC/whoever to find out if they're allowed to say it was a positive test.

Honestly, I don't trust the cdc/gov on this situation... giving the full story at least.

Probable that this is the case. There has been an unimaginable amount of FALSE crap and suppression in regard to ebola news coverage. A part of me feels like every single case that was deemed "low risk" was actually positive.

Seeing as the OP's source gave the info about there being a patient in that exact hospital *at all* hours before it came out on any news, I'm giving a lot more credence to his inside report of it being confirmed. Since when has the media been completely truthful about this, or even the authorities for that matter?

yes the stories are all the same now ---- Only the name (city) has changed.

and MALARIA in Houston?? See that ebola story - seems they are downplaying the malaria. YIKES, that's not good either.

Controversial new research suggests that contrary to the history books, the "Black Death" that devastated medieval Europe was not the bubonic plague, but rather an Ebola-like virus.

History books have long taught the Black Death, which wiped out a quarter of Europe's population in the Middle Ages, was caused by bubonic plague, spread by infected fleas that lived on black rats. But new research in England suggests the killer was actually an Ebola-like virus transmitted directly from person to person.

Daughter is a nurse in Houston at a different hospital. She confirms "possible" ebola and it was on the local news. She doubts it is ebola, patient had no fever.

OP is confirmed.
