Awesome! See this is the kind of shit you never hear about unless you are a local! I'm sure every town has their own local lore....most of it is probably BS with a small amount of truth buried deep down. A lot of the stories around this area have taken on a life of their own as they get passed around from generation to generation and from area to area. The Hell House legend around here must have 6 different versions depending on who you talk to.

Nice! Had always believed their were dead bodies in the dam...who knew? Was more interested in the carbon monoxide cover up of the workers who "died of pneumonia"...Nice to see our govt has been at this for a LONG time!

Most of the time, if you ever think of Omaha, you think of a small city in the middle of a bunch of corn fields. If you ever drove through, you would think things are pretty quiet. It is most of the time. Also, the scenery around the city is actually gorgeous.

But, I'm starting to find that there's lots and lots of history here. Not all of it is good.
