BREAKING: High school cancels football season over bullying

There has to be a reason given that will not incite panic. Stadium crowds are not a good thing for containing a plague.

I was watching one of my nephew's games and I remarked to my wife "These kids sure don't like hitting each other". She agreed.

Everything has become pussified these days.

It is just a cover for the real reason.
Pretty soon all events will be cancelled.

Why should kids like hitting each other?

It was sexual abuse in the locker room to Freshman boys by Juniors and Seniors! A criminal investigation is being conducted!

The PC crowd is NOT out of control!

It wasn't innocent "bullying." Seniors sexually assaulted Freshmen. How would you like your kid to experience that assault in a locker room? The perps inserted fingers into the Freshmens' rectum while they were being held down by other football players. Then they put their fingers into the victims' mouths!

Seven arrested, and one of the player's name has been mentioned in an online news article. In June, he accepted a full scholarship to Penn State!

Here's the article naming one of the players. Had a promising football career and PERHAPS threw it all away because he was a smart ass and apparently thought he could do no wrong. It will be interesting to see what Penn State will do!

Our kid attends high school 2 towns away from Parlin/ Sayreville and the RUMOR floating around his HS is that the bullied kids were forced to put their f..g..rs and other items up their ... then lick the .... from their f..g..rs. (yuk). RUMOR - remember - just RUMOR, and also that school adults were aware of this bullying and did nothing - again, just RUMOR...and you'll learn more when the investigation is over.

Ah, should have read this whole thread...so the RUMOUR is in fact true - how sad for these boys.

I think the school did the right thing. I still don't see the point of high school football.

Yeah people saying this is just PC crowd or sissyfication need to ducking read up on this. Someone is going to lose their job and they obviously just suspended the season while the investigation is ongoing.

Bullying is throwing someone against the locker or beating the hell out of someone.

And you are right. There is more too it than what it appears. It wouldn't have happened if the perps had the remotest fear they would be thrown off the team or out the school.

No surprise there. The football jocks were by far the biggest assholes in my high school.There were still repercussions from some of their shit at our 40th reunion.

when I played football in high school there was definitely hazing. which was tradition.. when a defensive player scored their first touchdown on a turnover they would get peanut butter in their ass after the game.. not sexual assault. just tradition.

There is a fine line between roughing up/manhandling a peer and inflicting terror and pain upon the individual, especially in sexual form. This is not your courtyard hotheaded behavior, this is sexual assault to the fullest degree.

I actually agree - the coaches and other school employees let this shit go on, now the superintendent needs to cover his ass - fuck em, they deserve it.

The OP is absolutely right about bullying in general, but not in this instance though, this bullying shit is getting out of hand.

My son has "guidance" every thursday just like it was music or art, and all they do is watch videos about how to be a big fat pussy.

Everybody acts like this is new there is a lot of gay shit that happens when u put a roster full of males together for months to camps and so on. Thats why I found it funny how they all thought Micheal Sam would have it hard coming out Gay nothing new to see here guys. I do find it funny though that the main kid involved got a scholarship to Penn State can anybody say irony. Also most americans have been keeping kids from contact sports like football because of brain injuries but life is a contact sport so are we suppose to put on a bubble suit every time we go out it is called fun and last time i checked these kids these days are fucked up anyways by dropping x and molly n shit so maybe putting them into a program that helps them be better people in the future like football isnt so bad. Now back to the chocalate lickers thats just gross man.
