Do you think God meets us all at some point?
If your not Christian or religious in any way shape or form, this question is most likely not for you. However, please feel free to give your opinion.

The questions I posed is one I have been thinking about since yesterday. I ran into a homeless man that came up to me out of the blue. He didn't want money, or food, or anything. He just wanted to talk. It was very weird, yet comfortable. I talked to him for about 40 mins. He asked me about my life, politics, religion, and aspirations in life. Then he simply smiled and walked away.

So the question is. Do you think God visits all of us at some point in our lives?

No, well, maybe. It just got me thinking about the Matrix we live in. That things that seems random may in fact be manufactured, for what reason I don't know.

GOD is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS says the bible. A homeless man, or a a rich man is equal and important to him.

Showing favorism to certain man is a sin.

I'm not saying that every encounter with the Almighty will be a homeless man. It could very well be a very wealthy man. A child, or a employee at a gas station in the middle of nowhere.

Yes.

2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The Designer of life is the Lord Jesus Christ, who once walked among us. When an engineer builds something he doesn’t throw it away. He has a purpose for it. God has a purpose for you – first that you seek Him.

That mind of yours – your soul – is going to live forever. You have a God-given conscience – you know the difference between right and wrong.
Is murder wrong?
Is rape wrong?
Is molesting children wrong?
Are YOU ready for justice?
How many lies have you told?
Ever stolen anything, including time from your employer for which you got paid anyway?
Ever lusted?
Ever gotten angry or insulted anyone?

God knows your every thought and judges you as a lying thief with an adulterous and murderous heart. Your destiny is a prison called the Lake of Fire.

Want forgiveness? Your Judge, Jesus Christ, offers His own shed blood in payment for your sins. When He rose from the dead, He proved His credibility.

It was really weird, It was right after me and my wife had just moved into a remodeled house we found out it use to be a mortuary. I was pissed off when I found out..

the house itself was remodeled very nice but was very cold and drafty... I was kinda bitching my wife out for moving us there i think i even said God why did you let us move in here!

About 10 minutes later a knock came at the door.. and Out of the blue this man asked if this house was for rent. Now it was very strange because we lived way out in the countryside. He was wearing this strange green suit. He said he needed a place for his daughter who was moving back to the area?

So why did he pick my house out of all the others..

there was no for rent sign?????

Its all teh same fabric of existence, but imperceptible to us.

Science is proving this to be true. Therefore you are with God right now. Always have been and always will be as long as you exist.

Now those that want to merge with the machines are actually breaking the link with the greater universe to enter a 3 space one dimension of time prison. Just like the fallen angel Satan and his fallen troupe.

Re: Do you think God meets us all at some point?
People meet Him all of the time, possibly every day for some, most fail to recognize what is in front of them.

This world we have built for ourselves has become too fast paced. Everything we do has to be rushed, leaving little time for thinking matters through before we react to them. We pay little attention to our surroundings and to those people we meet. Our responses are rushed, superficial, and this is why, when we have encounters with the sublime we tend to either not recognize it at all or only realize that there was something odd, only in hindsight, that leaves us wondering.

We are told, "be still and know that I am God". We need to slow down our approach to life and pay greater attention. Each day is all that we have been given. Each day is the reason why every day before it and everything that occurred in them, existed at all. Every moment of our lives was creating the conditions for right now to be, so how important are those that meet us on the path of the day?

We must practice mindfulness until mindful is habit and first instinct, where every moment lived is treated as if it is our last; as if every moment is the most important of our lives. This approach sharpens the senses to see beyond the surface, to hear what is actually being spoken rather than assuming we know or understand, to read between the lines. It is then that we have the best opportunity to interact with divine in awareness.

Read the gospels carefully. See how Yeshua spoke to people on a level other than the surface. He would make a comment about bread, referring to the corruption of the pharisees, yet those around Him only understood at a level equal to where their minds were at the time, thinking he was speaking of actual bread. Likewise, every word that comes out of a person's mouth at any given moment, has greater depth and provides more information than is generally perceived by the speaker or the hearers, and how the hearers understand what is said tells us a great deal about where they are in their hearts and minds as well. A man is more apt to find something when specifically searching for it. He might stumble upon it otherwise but stumbling throws one off balance, making that which is stumbled over less important than regaining balance.

If we desire meaningful, conscious interaction with the divine, our hearts and minds need to be set on the Spirit that we might recognize it when we see it and hear deeper than the surface that we might understand to take advantage of the encounter.

It is ONLY that we choose to look away. The Presence is constantly before each and every one of us. You must have decided to obtain possession of the "eyes" to see that which is the physical eyes cannot see and the "ears" to hear that which is the physical ears cannot hear.

You just have to ask with the depth of honesty greater than your need to take your another breath on this Earth. But "Dancing with the Stars" is on tonight so I don't have the time.
