Amazon fire has the new HD tablet, thin and long (no really), at least that is what they told me when I went to their website recently. 8GB memory is or was $99.

I use kindle fire HD and the only complaint I have is sometimes certain games in the app store take a bit longer to update to newer versions than their counterparts in google market or IOS app.

other than that it's a fantastic machine I highly suggest it. But if you are a hardcore online gamer via tablet you may want to consider something with a different marketplace than amazon app store.

But I love mine.

Get the first HD.then root it so you can use any apps and browsers you want. It basically becomes a Google tablet after its been rooted. Good bang for your buck that way

I don't know what size you're looking for, but I've been thinking about this one:

They may have it at a Brick and Mortar near you.

Oh, and they have it in black as well.

Yeah, save up until you can afford to get a better one.

Buy nice or buy twice.

Buy cheap, buy twice.
That is my advice.

Don't buy junk if you can afford better.
If not, don't buy at all.
