news here says all those self presenting for isolation in spain aren't symptomatic, haven't been to an outbreak area or been in contact with anyone with ebola.

it seems maybe they are presenting for 21 days isolation because they feel safer there, and it's best to get in early while there is still room.

Yes as a matter of fact I am very confident. I have a lot of confidence in that since I have a friend who lives in Skopje, Macedonia specifically and has the resources to know the truth. What I am not confident about is why they claimed they were following protocol....what protocol. The man had major health issues from alcohol use. They knew that when he was brought to the hospital. His blood alcohol level was through the roof and that was ascertained quickly. The man couldn't leave his hotel room for three days, yet he managed to continue to keep his blood alcohol level sky high. The poor man was a major alcoholic.

They put armed guards at the doors of the hotel, quarantined a ton of people and got their publicity. Instantly the news was put out that his travel partner was sick and quarantined, which was not at all true. The travel partner knew his history and knew he had not traveled anywhere near any of the infected countries and knew his alcohol issue history. They knew that information very quickly.

Initially they had reason to suspect....for a very short time. However, after that short time, they knew from that moment on that this man did not have Ebola. Regardless, they used it to put fear in their country's people, with stunts that cause panic. Most of the media in Macedonia is government owned and operated, so what gets put out there is sanctioned by the government. The few independents in the country are so stifled by the government, they have little impact on people, so they would never dare to tread on the government owned news agencies.

You should know, I do believe there is a huge danger to all of us and I am greatly concerned for the safety of my family....but I also believe it is being used to put total and complete fear in the masses and is intended to confuse us all so that we are paralyzed to act and will depend on our defunct government to save us all. I am not however going to believe that every person who is tested and comes out negative is a lie. Especially when the incident is intentionally sensationalized to scare the hell out of people.
