They are actively working on carrying many more American made products in their stores. Even with food, Gulf shrimp etc. I have noticed it at my own Walmart. Maybe there's hope yet for America. Quoting: Viking Chic 58088371 Also, when people bitch about Walmart wages it really irritates me because they never bitch about Target and all the other stores which are equally low. If your going to bitch about one then bitch about them all. Mmmm... Gulf Shrimp with Corexit sauce. Yum. |

But I live on the Florida Gulf Coast and just had some Tilapia (Nile Perch) and shrimp fresh from the Gulf just the other day and it was fabulous. I think the Corexit is long gone, at least in this area it is. |

I wrote the CEO about that, and (amazingly) he wrote back. He defended the practice as part of thier "community out-reach" program. I wrote back that I would never spend another penny in their store, and never heard from him again. It's been 3 or 4 years, and i haven't been in Home Depot. Target and 3M donated Republican and they are in a very democrat state of Minnesota... Quoting: TripleH That's exactly what I noticed, Minnesota is very publicly Democrat or "DFL" in Minnesota-speak. I was raised there on a farm, all the farmers are very conservative. Just Minneapolis and St Paul are libTards... Now I live in a Seattle suburb. Most in the suburb are conservative but the main populated area of Seattle are TOTAL LIBTARDS... Conservitards are just as stupid as libtards. Intelligent, conservative, liberal people realize they are the same, just tards being manipulated by the puppetmasters. You seem smart TripleH and I bet you will figure it out in the next 10 years or so. |

I think the Corexit is long gone, at least in this area it is. That doesn't mean it is not in the shrimp. When demand dropped for gulf shrimp because of corexit, the price dropped. The shrimp were frozen and bought up by big companies like Sysco, Usfoods, Darden Restaurants, etc. and stored until the public demand returned and the price went higher. Then they get unloaded and sold to the unsuspecting public. When you eat at a restaurant, you do not know when the shrimp was IQF frozen, do you? Same thing with Fukushima laced seafood. Quoting: TripleH I was raised there on a farm, all the farmers are very conservative. Just Minneapolis and St Paul are libTards... Now I live in a Seattle suburb. Most in the suburb are conservative but the main populated area of Seattle are TOTAL LIBTARDS... and has been for a long time. anti car...anti business and super pro taxes. they're also responsible for all the crooked contractors that have screwed up every big construction project as well as going over millions of dollars too. like him or not...Dori Monson from 710 Kiro Radio brings all these blunders to light as well as the constant tax grabs from this ohhh so libtard of a city. this century...i refuse to go and spend money downtown unless i have business there. i'm in Federal Way and would do all business in South King County if official paperwork business could be done here. once Cannabis City has a little better assortment of edibles or oils...i may spend some money there on over priced/over taxed THC just to try it out. although...it was a very good outdoor growing season this year. You're in Federal Way? I used to live there from 1973 to 1977. I went to Thomas Jefferson High, and the "Occupational Skills Center" for TV production, printing, commercial art and photography. I liked it there. i've been here since 1976. it's really a different world now and the police wish their only problems were breaking up keggers at the apple orchards off of 51st. i was at Federal Way high after moving from Seattle and Lincoln high school. i couldn't stand it and ended up at Continuation for the "bad" kids as i tended to march to a different beat then too. my son did go to Jefferson and graduated in 1995. |
