When should I start to worry about Ebola?

My thoughts exactly. In the grand scheme of things ebola isn't really that important right now... More people in the US have been dumped by Taylor Swift than have died from ebola but I don't know when I should start adding to the preps

i should add that Dallas is about 900 miles or approx 1400 km from my home.

This is the million dollar question for us here too - when (if) to bug in/out.

The Organic Prepper has some good insight on this, and a link from an article by a nurse (she does say, in most cases, multiple cases within 75-100 mi. from your home is reasonable.)

If you have some money to spare, it wouldn't hurt to start stocking up on nonperishable food and supplies. I'm doing this now. The food and many of the supplies will be used even if the epidemic never hits my town. Having these items in the house makes me feel a little more prepare. However, I don't think anyone should stop worrying until and unless Ebola is brought under control.

Worry when the media blows the story completely out of proportion. So, now I'd say.

It means that the threat is not real and they have to push it to make it seem real. So, never.

For me it's time when its 1 state away on the left,right,& on top.

Nothing will happen. Dont worry.

I would say be concerned now, but if and WHEN more infections occur, you need to be worried, cause its prolly out of control NOW!
