Pasteur said disease was caused by virii, bechamp said well the virii are always there, so disease is actually caused by unhealthy conditions in the body becoming more habitable for disease to propogate, like crows feasting on carrion, virii are the clean up crew for your dead cells.

Nature has been in constant balance for a long time, biology and life always wins out but virii have an important role to play in life too.
