The passenger came from Sierra Leone last Sunday and started showing symptoms today so he has been quarantined at hospital in Tenerife.

The SPanish missionary who returned on Tuesday from Liberia has not been qurantined at the Carlos III hospital, wich has been specially prepared these days to manage the ebola infections and possible cases, but in another hospital, one of the religious order, which doesnt meet this virus security requirements!

It seems he will be now transferred to the Carlos III but 21 members of the order who had contact with him will have to remain under observation too.

These are two different incidents. Spain has had today 4 new cases of quarantined people ...

The passengers of the flight have not been quarantined. Guys wit hazmat suits went into the plane at arrival and handed out questionnaires to each passenger but they were let go after they took with them the possible infected Nigerian guy.

Folks on here think governments are involved in all these elaborate conspiracies, and no doubt some conspiracies are genuine. But, whenever theres a shit storm like Ebola (or some big ass hurricane or other weather event) governments everywhere FAIL...they fuck up, either have no viable plan or do a shit job implementing plans. They can barely tie their shoes. These morans are responsible for elaborate conspiracies and cover ups?

I think they are put in place by people who know these guys are complete idiots who will wreck any situation into chaos without any script. Supreme levels of incompetence are requirement.

Just now on the Spanish tv channel LASEXTA it was announced that the workers at Carlos III hospital have requested the assistance of the army units prepared to deal with ebola. Apparently they cant handle the situation on their own anymore...

From what is being talked on forums , and social media the Spanish missionary has a very high chance of being infected because he was working in Liberia with ebola patients. The scandal is that he returned on Tuesday and went directly to his orders hospital instead of the specially prepared Carlos III. There he was for two days being under attention of up to 21 people without special equipment before they finally took him to Carlos III today already with fever and symptoms.

One of the serious spanish newspapers is saying that the 21 days of quarantine might not be enough. A scientific study states there is still a 12% chance the infected person is contagious after 21 days...
