Texas health worker isolated on cruise ship over possible Ebola contact | |

She was showing symptoms so she self quarantined. Then the cruise ship stuck her and her husband on a tender to head to shore and catch an emergency flight to the U.S. But the Belize government told them to get lost and also would not let any other passengers off the boat and sent the Belize coast guard to make sure no one escaped the ship. The patients floated off shore not allowed back on the cruise ship or on shore while the US gov negotiated all day for them to have permission to leave. Belize told the US to get lost and then told Carnival Cruise lines to take their boat and their diseased passengers out of Belize waters and go back to the U.S. So 4000 passengers instead of touring Belize are now headed back to the U.S. and also skipped the cruise ship plans to go to the next country planned on the cruise. So if she actually was symptom free as US media claims and only being monitored just in case why the heck would the cruise line cancel an entire cruise for 4000 plus and turn back to the US? Especially since we know the US has the ability to just land a helicopter on the cruise ship and pick them up. If they were merely monitoring symptom free people that's all it would take. If however they actually have symptoms and the US Media is lying this makes more sense because a helicopter would not have the disease containment chamber used for ebola patients. |
