When a person dies does their soul still keep the same thoughts that they had while in their body?

I had an extended EOB one time where I left my body here and traveled through space and time.

A short while after leaving earth I totally forgot all about my other body and was just as pleased with my astral body.

Based on personal experience, thinking, IE having an organic computing system such as the brain is not necessary.

Simply focus and awareness happened when I was disembodied.

For instance, I recall focusing on the lack of eyes, instantly I became aware I did not need them to see.
