If Ebola spreads exponentially how come we don't see more cases in the U.S. | |

Either way, where ever that storm drain leads, there is Ebola. As it lives months in water. I see that happening, people relieved we stopped Ebola only to come back in a few weeks/months to wreck havoc. |

People will be coughing and sneezing spreading all their germs in water droplets... Surfaces will be contaminated and many more Ebola cases will be seen.... When more people contract the disease, it will have the chance to mutate and will eventually become fully airborne... Possibly 1/4 of the worlds population could be wiped out from this disease.... |

"We do not have confirmations as to all involved but we do know the US is targeted and that the intent is to kill as many Americans as possible to undermine social cohesion and destroy whatever confidence the American people have in government. We have traced financial operations behind this to Switzerland, UBS as handler of operational funds, and a number of CIA contractors as “prime movers.” This is entirely a move from the political “right” and we have traced direct involvement to members of the Murdoch/Fox groups. The Ebola scare, which we fear will become something far more sinister than a simple “scare” also is paralleled by a nuclear terrorism scare as well perpetrated by the Murdoch/Cheney consortium on behalf of the Al Qaeda operational group of former CIA, Mossad and Saudi intelligence officers." Anonymous Coward User ID: 64144106 United States 10/19/2014 03:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The slow incubation time is one thing that makes it such a threat too. When a virus has a quick incubation, it burns itself quickly because the carriers die before they have a chance to infect too many people. With 21 days incubation, imagine how many people a carrier comes in contact with during that time. I read somewhere that Patrick Sawyer infected 9-19 other people. Fortunately, the gov't there was quick to track down all his contacts. I suspect this will travel faster in the US than it has in Africa because people are so mobile. In Africa, it is more of a slow wave moving across, but in the US, I suspect it will be more of a "seeding" across the country as infected people keep jumping on planes and using public transportation. Plus here, people eat out, attend sports events, concerts, etc. with tens of thousands of other people. Even the US mail system alone could be a major means of spread. |
