Ebola doom over | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 961326 United States 10/20/2014 10:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's the deal. The doom in the US was overstated. It was never gonna infect a huge number of people in the US in a quick period of time. Each person on average infects 2-3 people. The first guy infected 2 people. If the averages hold, we should have 4 new cases over the next 2-3 weeks. The "doom" is a slow doom. The bigger problem is Sierra Leone and Liberia. At their rate, there will be over 100K infected by the end of the year. If it can't get controlled there, watch out. |
