We need new and improved doom ;<)

What is the worst doom that you can think of?

My suggestion: Everything stabilizes and we live boring lives until we are old, creaky, and forgotten. Instead of "Doom on!" it would be more like "Doom yawn."

Where is a ufo alien abduction when I could use one? Even black eyed children banging on the door at strange hours would be fun. Not likely that a Yeti will visit. At the rate things are going, maybe everyone will vent their international anger and we never get to hear those air raid sirens.

I have to lube my joints. They are starting to creak.

Humanity: Somehow or another managing to avoid global thermonuclear war since Kennedy and Kruschev. Not a bad track record when you think about it. :-)
