Frankly, I don't see how several cases could be covered up unless the sick person is scooped up immediately, their phones taken away and the person kept guarded, incommunicado, in a secret setting. Or simply 'disappeared'.
Perhaps too complicated to be a viable scenario.

Maybe they don't have to cover it up in any way, they just don't report it in the MSM - how would anyone know about Ebola cases if there was a media black-out? Facebook? Twitter? Is that enough to get the word out?
