The conversation does pertain to the video. Apparently the picture of the alien frightened all of the religious folks so bad they started pointing finger at everyone as being deceived which I find to be a bit odd.

There is a Biblical reason for the popularity of UFO's.

At the very least, UFOs constitute a massive effort on the part of Satan and his "principalities and powers" (Ephesians 6:12) to keep or divert people from saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and, if possible, to ensnare them to the point of insuring their damnation.

Over the weekend last week I watched Steven King's "The Mist" for the umpteenth time (love the movie, what can I say)

But every time I see someone posting bible quotes they remind me of that Jesus freak chick in that movie... spewing bible quotes and threatening everyone with Satan talk.

Neither of these people are deceptive though. Neither have had anything to gain. Look at their credentials. If what they're saying isn't the truth, it could only be because its disinfo. Then you have to ask why? What is the real truth. But to me thats a moot point, I've always been convinced by both Boyd and Bob, absolutely nothing to gain by revealing what they have. They haven't done years of selling books, conferences / lectures etc., in fact both have mostly remained hidden away.
