I think its a good thing.....took a relative thru emergency the other day. They had signs up at registration with all the ebola questions on it. The emergency bay he was in was across from the isolation room, and they were testing the negative pressure system on that room.

The Emory administrators are worried someone might have picked up some common-sense in Texas. Can't have that in Hotlanta.

They already know that the best methods of tracking down potential patients who MAY have been exposed is a lot harder than it seems.

Did Mr. Duncan tell them every single move he made those two days he was sick? Did Mr. Duncan forget about that momentary stop at the 7-11 for a pack of cough drops or a Slurpee or something?

We don't know, they don't know and a lot of people are hard pressed to know exactly when and where they have been over the course of minor handful of days.

Unless you are pretty much homebound or a homebody with a strict routine, chances are relatively high that a minor stop at 7-11, or a gas station or fast food joint will slip your mind against a broader day of travel, and errand running.

The health trackers must make the assumption that Mr. Duncan did more than he said and keep an eye out for more potential cases from him.

Then we have the two nurses, both who were free to roam about and may (albeit a slim may) have been shedding sufficient virus at the onset of early symptoms to pass it on.

My take is that someone's out to stop Texas' economy cold. There are about 1500 people moving into Texas every day. Why? Jobs. Texas has energy jobs...and Texas is building houses and shopping centers. One of the best economies in the USA exists in Texas. If TPTB are going to sucker punch the USA, gotta start in Texas; hence, I don't think there's any coincidence that Ebola showed up in Texas.
