This was a robo call to all volunteers from the Georgia Dept. Of Health, she is a volunteer under SERVGA, which is a branch of GEMA! They state that it's an exercise, an EXERCISE, but wants her to email the representative !

My mother has never received a phone call like this! They must want a current list of nurses and are running their "tests"! She is ALARMED and nervous as well as she should be!


I can barely understand the words on this recording, I'm trying I will post on Youtube ASAP!!!

The message states "in the event of a natural disaster"??? i can't tell?? ugghhh

nothing to see here. I am a health care provider in another state. Every time I renew my license, I am asked if I am willing to help out in the event of a health emergency. If I agree, I get placed on a call list.

Every now and then, "they" run a test of the copmmunication system. They will attempt to reach the people who are on the list. They then time how long it takes to reach everybody.

It's a way of streamlining their contact list and their system for making the contacts.

It's just a drill. happens all the time.
